Strawberry Lime Water | Country Girl Gourmet

I very rarely drink soda. I pretty much gave it up back in 2009. Back then I started drinking Crystal Light because I just couldn’t bear the taste of plain water. Fast forward 7 years and I have been keeping my eyes open for other alternatives. That is when I found this recipe for Strawberry Lime Water. After mixing it up I couldn’t wait to try it but I had to wait my turn. My daughter and youngest son saw me mixing it and asked for some “Fancy Water” before I could pour myself a cup. I swear those kids have some sort of internal alarm system that says mom is in the kitchen making food! So, I was a nice mom and gave them each a cup and they both loved it and after I poured myself some I did too!

I could see myself making it not just for myself to have but for special occasions. It would be the perfect drink for a lunch with friends. I can’t help but wonder why I hadn’t made this sooner!
